National Donut Day

Friday, June 5, 2015

Hi guys! It's been awhile since I've posted and I apologize! I've been so busy with work this summer but I promise I haven't forgotten about all of you! Today I'm here to show you how I've decorated my planner for national donut day. Yes, national donut day exists and I had NO idea until I got on Instagram and saw that some of my planner friends had mentioned it!

I never really realized how many donut themed items I have but I'm so glad I have them because they are adorable! Everything comes together so nicely and if you follow me on Instagram, you know I love having themes and I love when my planner is matchy matchy!

I bought this dashboard awhile back from Lindsays Looot on Etsy and it's absolutely adorable! The color of the donut itself really ties in with my gold kikkik planner which is something I love. I also chose a beautiful ribbon from Princess Pinkie Boutique to match my theme. I LOVE paper clips, so I thought this cute little purple octopus from Kawaii Paperie added a nice touch as well.

I love the kikkik brand because of the adorable pockets. You can be so creative with these so I really took advantage of them with my donut theme. I took some of my favorite stickers from my #plannerbestie Emma at Inspired Blush and stuck them in the back pocket. They match my donut dashboard from Lindsay which I love! I always keep page flags from the Target Dollar spot in my planner so I chose some that I thought would go nicely with the theme. The page flags you see in the top pocket are the newest set Target has released, so if you like these you can still snatch them up! Another thing I always keep in my planner are my stickers from Cori: The Reset Girl. I thought these cute pastel circles resembled donuts so I stuck them in the middle pocket along with a project life card! This specific card is designed by Emily Ley the set is called the Strawberry Edition Set. And of course I had to use my donut clip from The Angel Shoppe! It ties in nicely with my sprinkle washi that I used to tape a card onto my dashboard.

I also wanted to give you guys a sneak peak at next weeks pages in my Erin Condren Life Planner! I finally got my hands on this adorable sprinkle washi so I thought a donut theme would be cute for next weeks pages. I will be doing a plan with me video this weekend and it will be uploaded as soon as possible! Also, you can find me on YouTube HERE! Thank you guys for stopping by the blog today. Stay tuned this weekend for more fun posts and videos including a shop spotlight video! Happy planning!
