Cocoa Daisy August Planner Kit

Friday, July 24, 2015

Hello loves! It's been awhile since I've been up on the blog. It's been a busy summer, but things are finally winding down. Today I'm here to show you guys the August Cocoa Daisy planner kit! I am so excited to be working with this fabulous company. They've asked me to be their first ever guest planner designer and I'm really loving it so far. I have gotten to be so creative with this kit and I will be showing you how I use it in my planner as well!

This kit is so vibrant and colorful and totally my style. I found a common theme with the kit and that is macaroons! Macaroons have been really popular in the planner community lately and I think that's because they're so colorful, cute AND delicious!

These cute little macaroon cases came with the kit and I absolutely love these! I keep little paper clips inside and they fit perfectly. Some macaroon paper clips also came with this kit and I am currently using these in my Filofax a5 domino. Everything in this kit ties together so well.

Some other things that came in this kit were cute little card embellishments. I have a few of them in my planner right now, but these are the other ones that I'm not using yet. An Amy Tangerine stamp was also included in this kit. This stamp is perfect for the Erin Condren planner boxes. I plan on using it for that purpose, and I will be filming a video on how I do that for those of you interested!

Another thing that came with my kit were these super cute sticky notes that I've stuck to one of my glitter dashboards. Again, more macaroons to go with the rest of the goodies in the kit! I also got these adorable vibrant pink typewriter sticky notes which I am using in my weekly spread for this week. I've also taped the other journaling cards from the kit onto the back of my Erin Condren Cover which is sort of bland. It really brightens it up and makes it pop!

There were also some beautiful a5 inserts included with this kit. I haven't dug into them yet, but I took one of the vibrant sheets and stuck it in the pocket of my Domino planner. The colorful sticker palette was also included with the kit. I've used a few of them here and there in my weekly layouts as well!

Here is how I used the typewriter sticky note in my weekly layout. I thought it would be a cute embellishment to add since I went with a pink theme this week!

With all of that being said, I'm 100% in love with this kit. Cocoa Daisy is an amazing, quality company that makes adorable planner kits! I'm so grateful to be their first ever planner guest designer and I'm looking forward to showing you guys how I continue to use this gorgeous kit in my planner. Stay tuned for a planner video up on my YouTube channel! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

  1. So cute! Love it! I also love that we have a lot of the same planners and it gives me ideas such as the A5 dominos in pink and turquoise. I love the large pocket, but it is kind of plain and I love your idea of using washi to adhere cards to. I will have to try that. Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. Hey Ally,
What do you use to adhere you journaling cards to the pocket of your A5 domino? Do you use wash/clips?
